Good places for PPL in Philippines? (Manila)
 

I'll be moving to the Philippines soon with my wife from the USA, and I need to get my PPL since I won't be able to do anything else while I'm there. What are some economical options around Manila for earning my PPL? I'm not opposed to buying a small cessna and hiring an instructor, but I am also open to just renting a plane and instructor. What is the typical cost for a PPL in the Philippines? Thank you,

The closest airport to Manila that has flying schools is Plaridel in Bulacan (North of Manila). It's about an hour away. Further North, there are schools in Clark and Subic which are about 2 hours away from Manila. You can Google "flying schools in Subic" etc. since there are too many to mention. As for the cost, you can inquire directly to the schools.
