JCAB glider licence
Hi guys, anyone knows how to get a JCAB glider licence? (Already have JCAB atpl and ICAO glider). Has anyone done it?

thanks But I'll suggest something that I have done myself twice now with good results. Just show up at the MLIT building in Tokyo! I know it sounds strange but have your license with you and talk to the guards at the door, you show him or her your license and they will pull a map of the building and show you where to go, at the JCAB offices you will find somebody that speaks English guaranteed, just ask them directly. I have found them to be very helpful and willing to give you all the assistance you need. Best of luck and happy new year! |

It's going to be very difficult to get an answer to that question here, I know of a couple of glider pilots that also have the JCAB ATPL but I don't think that they ever tried to get the rating transferred.

I saw gliders when I took the train to Asahikawa. Near Takikawa I think.
