Agency performance during COVID

I thought given how many contract pilots there are now around the world and especially in this area, and how many 'agencies' there are employing these pilots, thought it would be interesting to hear how these agencies have performed and looked after(or not) their crew during the pandemic!

Generally the life of an agent once the pilot is on contract looks relatively straight forward hence why there are now so many agencies but these last 6 months or so will be when the good agencies show their worth over the others.

Good for us all to know who has looked after their crew well and who has done nothing at all for them so we know who to choose once the job market picks up again..if it does!

Judging by Linkedin and some feedback from friends Goose and Aeroprofessional seems to be up to date, at least pretending to care for their associates however the usual suspects, like Rishworth, Parc are not even worth mentioning.

What do you expect the agency to do?

No harm done venting steam and letting the anger out, yet the argument of the previous poster remains valid IMHO.

In case their contract had a severance provision at least remotely applicable, the agency's reputation sinks or floats whether or not they stood behind their pilots to enforce the arrangement.

Well some communication regarding what is happening and at least pretending to care about their pilots would be nice.

Longreach at CSA have been shockingly bad with communication. We receive the relevant information days before from Parc or Smile and nothing from Longreach. This is not good and then we get told not to use WeChat as a means of communication amongst our group. Nice!!!

Longreach have not done themselves any favours during this and it sounds from previous posts that Parc haven't either.

I have also heard good things about Aeroprofessional 👍
