DGCA Security Clearance
Hi This is regarding the DGCA Security Clearance. I am a Canadian Citizen with an Overseas Citizen of India Card and I received my security clearance in April 2018 allowing me to sit for my DGCA CPL Exams. Now I have recently heard that there is a validity of 1 year on it. Is that true. Does that mean I have to get my FRTOL before the clearance otherwise they’ll redo the entire clearance. I am really confused about this because nowhere on the DGCA’s website is it mentioned about the validity. If anyone has any experience please do let me know. Thank You |

Hi
Are you sure you as an Canadian citizen with OCI (which is not Indian citizenship) can be issued an Indian CPL. India does not have dual citizenship. Just asking as I saw an old post regarding this The link is below https://www.pprune.org/south-asia-far-east/434043-indian-dgca-licence.html |
Hi,
I am a UK passport holder; having an OCI and settled in India since the last 10 years. And I want to pursue private pilot license here in India. I did my class-2 medical; but my doctor (DGCA approved) says that he cannot file because I am British. Whom do I contact for my medical security clearance? I understand that my flying school will file my security clearance for the computer number. But I am stuck on my medical. Please help. Thanks, Deven |
