Temporarily Unfit DGCA

I recently had my class 1 initial medical and was declared Temporarily Unfit for 12 weeks due a gallbladder stone. I had an appointment with a specialist and he asked me to undergo a minor surgery.
I am planning to have my surgery in 2 weeks.
I wanted to know if i complete the whole process in a month from now, can i apply for a review medical immediately? Or do i have to wait out the 12 weeks specified and apply for a medical later?
Thank you.

Give the doc a call after the surgery.

try Ayurveda medicines, my friend got cured with the same(he had 6 stones) and cleared his class-I later.
just simple medicines and diet will get stone dissolved.
my suggestion to you is avoid surgery to remove gallbladder stone, as there are lot of side effects

^^^^what he said.

It's a minor routine surgery. If you want to prolong the temporariness (I take literary liberty here) of your grounding then try Ayurveda.

From what I recall, you cannot shorten the time of your next review.

I agree any form of surgery can be intimidating but a cursory search on your favourite search engine should allay your fears.

Good luck and get well soon.

From the back of my head.... 6 months...!! Your specialist might be taking you for a ride...I am not saying he is but comercially it could be a minor surgery but it might have significant consequences for you... just in case that is the case take second opinions clearly explain your case of being a pilot and implications....!! Go back to CME or IAM ask them about the implications
