Best A320 basic salary in China
 
Any idea which operator via which agency is paying the best basic at the minute for 320 drivers? Not interested in bonuses etc that may never materialise!!

Air Guilin now taking the lead on the hna group especially for 30/30.Qindao also good although heard they had issues wth caac...avoid lucky air (extremely old chinese way of running and airline also qar sick) and West Air (worst roster on par with spring and on top of it 15/15 outdated and not worh it as I heard they removed transport and housing but don't provide any allowances like others.Good luck

I am really interested in this matter since, I am thinking about jumping to middle kingdom.

I am more interested in commuting options like 15days on/15 days off, 3weeks on/2 weeks off or 20/10.

I thought WestAir would have been a proper option for the 320.

Any further hints or hindsight to share regarding this?

I have a friend who just left WESTAIR
EARLIEST STARTS - Check-Ins around 0430-0530
LATE FINISH - never on ground before 0200
Company ignore rules and regs on rest, roster training, sim, medical etc in rest time
CHONGQING not a place for westerneers, he said literally everyone who has a family has moved them out of Chongqing
Most guys not renew contract all going or looking at loongair where salary is higher
No housing or travel money.. in other company an extra, WESTAIR say included
Note hours before overtime are 804 PER ANNUM
He said they are lie to, treat like second class and live in suitcase, days off on tour are very common
They have money issues, 4 aircraft on ground as can't afford spares, part of HNA Group
CEO just 'left' as they did comply with rules about training and compliance (shh shh)
punishment Culture based on outdated QAR and silly management

he said he is glad to have leave and many others about to follow
