CAL payrise for locals only
 

Cal has finally started to give a long deserved payrise. Nothing great, just a little to rise them from bottom low.
Unfortunately even if expats there were forced to have a local contract years ago ( see paycut), with no understandable reasons this pay rise applies only to locals (see taiwan passport).

This is good news even if it only applies to the Taiwanese pilots...., a happy local pilot group always translates into a better environment for the expats.

Well what can I say, you really got the point...a part from labor laws and discriminations.

You are lucky...much better than the pay cut we had at the end of 2009...
As most of the expat outfits in South East, expat pilots are requiered but not welcome.

I even can add that in SE Asia expats are hated by locals...
