Multi engine rating from the U.S.

Hello everyone.

Multi from the U.S.,
Aircraft - Cessna 310 or Cessna 441 Conquest II.
Budget - 10000 USD ( 6 lacs INR )
Location -Preferably near New York. Solid Gold if in Long Island.
Intentions- To come back to India and get the rating endorsed on the Indian DGCA CPL.

Please suggest good flight schools that would meet the above mentioned criteria.

Safe skies.

The Cessna 441 is not registered in India . So the DGCA wont accept that for endorsement

Going by whats happening in the DGCA these days you will have to give a skill test in India upon return
Garg Aviation has one Cessna 310 VT-EJX and as per the DGCA website its Certificate of Airworthiness (CoA) has expired

Wouldnt it be cheaper and easier to do it on something like a PA 34 or a P68C ?

Prior to going abroad you will have to pass the DGCA tech specific exam for the same and before training get the ELP endorsed on the CPL

The Flight school you go to will have to be FAA Part 141 approved as DGCA only accepts training from FAA Approved flight schools
The Flight school should also have Commercial Multi and Instrument rating on the Air Agency Certificate

Check with Nassau Flyers. They are located in Farmingdale (KFRG), NY, which is on Long Island.

Long Island Flight School - Flight Training - Cirrus Training - Aircraft Rentals

Good luck

Why don't you do it from India itself? Bhopal Flying club has B58 and P68C. Last i heard both the aircraft were available for 30-35k INR. Should take less than a month provided weather permits.

Specific Exam !?

Can you please attach the link to the doc wherein it says that clearing the specific exam is mandatory ?

" 3.4 The trainee pilot should have passed all requisite written examinations
including Technical Examination on type before commencement of the flying
training and that must be valid during entire training and checks "

Nassau Flyers is not 141. Academy of aviation is, they operate a PA44.

Hi Everyone.I did my flying from Alpha Tango, Tx and gave Indian checks on multi engine at Garg Aviation on Cessna-310 VT-EJX. The aircraft is completely airworthy and my instructor was excellent. He completed my Fam, Day Check & Night Check in a day.

Cheers!!!!
