Need information low hour jobs
 

Hi all. New to the forum and wanted to ask where can I start my career as a pilot. I'm just about to finish my CPL multi and i hold IR too. currently i have about 250 TT. I have done all my training in the USA but I don't hold a US passport, only a student visa. I'm from Israel and I have only Israeli citizenship.
I don't mind moving to any place in the world to start with something because when it comes to Israel I don't see any option to get a job in the next few years.
Unfortunately I thought that by this time I'll have more answers but I really don't.

Being a foreigner with a foreign license, no work permit and with no airline experience will make it extremely difficult to find a job outside of Israel.

If you want to stay in aviation you need to work on solving those problems.

Wow, looks like your only chance is the Israeli air force. No one wants to hire a low hour pilot. You should have thought about it more before joining a flying school as a private candidate.

You may want to try your luck in Africa (Bush flying). There are no guarantee though of getting a job.

But lets be mature and talk about aviation for now.

spekto, unfortunately you won't find a job. Aviation industry is in a downturn and even in Asia they will struggle like us.
Japan needs pilots, but they prefer to close destinations than hirong foreigners.
It's a business, and if things go wrong, investors just leave and manage another business.
Believe me, even with hours on type you don't get a job easily.

Do you have a back up career ( a real career not aviation "career") like engineer, technician, etc ?

I do fly a small turboprop around here.

Get paid peanuts for it and the hours arent going to add up to any significant number anytime soon.

This seemed like a network for professionals the last I checked. Wonder how you landed here.

If you have come to the US on an M1 visa , it does allow you to work ( at least it did a few years ago) but only in aviation. You have to apply for an m1 work authorization. I would get the CFI an look for an instruction job.

Thanks Picollo, not in US anymore, but will look into that option too
