Here goes Mandala No. 3. All expat pilots have given the boarding pass and will leave the company within the next few weeks. The end is near!!!

do what the locals do... jump next door to Garuda.. they still looking for pilots...on A320..

Lion is also recruiting direct entry captains for the A320. I heard somewhere their first 6 A320 will arrive sometime this year, destined for their full service subsidiary Batik Air.

Lion Air.. why put yourself through hell.. 6 days ON 1 Day OFF.. UPTO 110hrs per month, min rest hrs is 9hrs... :mad: and min coverage of health insurance etc. as expat capt. you given 10weeks on 2 weeks off. BUT buy your own ticket home.

I think I stick with garuda (SKYTEAM) member or citilink.

Yep, I am afraid so. A lot of pilots had high hopes when they joined Mandala, locals as well as expats and things started to come together but the missmanagement by the slef-styled Dutch CEO and VP Ops created havoc. Ignorance and arrogance ruled the company and this is the result!!


Stay away from Lion or its daugher company Batik Air. Garuda, Citilink, Air Asia and Air Asia X are much better options. I am not sure but Air Asia Indonesia still bases pilots in Bali.
