if you are 208 rated then they should invite you for interview... if not then dont waste time; there will be 100s from Mumbai / Pune area..

Kishorkumar 10th Jan 2014 16:45

RkoSim - what negative comments have you heard?

i met captain ameet k agarwal, the owner and ceo. he is a big shot. he is very influential. he does charters for chief ministers.
he is also close to narendra modi.no wander they are penetrating gujarat.
he got a call from ajit singh the other day asking to keep a pilot in front of me.

-----------------------------

Well, well well, a second sign up from Supreme Aviation. What an incredible coincidence! What are the chances of that happening?

License convertion

Hi guys,

Question about the license convertion and security background check for foreign Cpl holders:
Howlong it takes for this procedure? and where did you your Caravan endorsement for Supreme air.
Any information would be much preciated

Van-Driver 22nd Jul 2014 12:04

Are you joining as Co-pilot or as Captain?.
As copilot you are going to have bad time managing finance
with the salary they are offering and the base expected.

flaps35 22nd Jul 2014 16:49

Van driver, yes the wage is low I thinks just enough for food and accomodation.I will join as First/Officer.But I have to take it, I am low houred and the time is running out for the first job.I would like to hear from guys who are flying for supreme.

cyrilroy21 22nd Jul 2014 17:14

flaps 35

In what country did Supreme Aviation offer you a job as FO ?

Are you an Indian Citizen ?

flaps35 22nd Jul 2014 22:48

I am not Indian citizen,I am from The Netherlands.
By the way I am waiting also for some information for which country they wants to recruit, and how do they do it with the type-endorsement.

Van-Driver 23rd Jul 2014 10:43

Supreme is recruiting for India, base Mumbai, remember you will end up paying alot for accommodation as many places in Mumbai prefer to keep 5-8 months of security deposit and rent can start from 300$ / month +(correct me people if I am wrong)
Caravan Rating can cost you on an average 12000USD but you might be able to find cheaper options, remember if you are doing it on sim do it only on Level D simulator otherwise Indian DGCA wont accept it.

flaps35 23rd Jul 2014 11:54

Van driver thank you for the information.
Wooww 12000$ for a caravan endorsement is a lot of money, here in Europe it is much cheaper, especialy in polen.I agree that the accommodation would be around 300$ p.m.,but I have to survive for 1year.And what about the live expences in mumbay relative to europe it mast be much cheaper?
greetings

cyrilroy21 23rd Jul 2014 14:32

@flaps35

You cannot fly for an operator flying Indian Registered aircraft ( VT ) as an FO unless you have an Indian Passport / Original Citizen of India / Person of Indian origin card

Thats a DGCA rule

In addition to that you need an Indian CPL and Radio License . All these can take a very long time to convert

Now if the operator is flying a foreign registered aircraft then its a whole another matter...

pfvspnf 23rd Jul 2014 14:48

If they are telling you that government paperwork and license conversion will be done quickly and you need not worry , it's a scam. ! Don't fall into the trap flap35 !

flaps35 24th Jul 2014 00:20

They have only send an list with company offers and i have accepted.they are only telling me that they have started with the procedures.they ask nothing else such fee,for the convertion procedure,so why do you thinks this is a scam

pilotchute 24th Jul 2014 06:16

Flaps35,

Just wait and they will start asking you for money.

flaps35 24th Jul 2014 09:55

If they start asking money,i have no 1pence for them,it is simple i will stop.

Van-Driver 24th Jul 2014 18:41

looks like supreme has sent common offer letter to everyone. whether things written in it applicable to a specific person or not they have just sent it.
there would be no name written in offer letter to whom it is sent for.

flaps 35: if you do caravan rating on real aircraft you need to fly(10 hours) as per DGCA exercises mentioned with sortie wise statement issued by the training academy. if you are going to do it on sim, you would be doing 10 hours sim time. In both the cases you will undergo some hours of ground training and written test. Also I have seen trend of DGCA asking caravan pilots to do familiarization and IR flight in India to get Caravan endorsement so be ready to bear the cost of that as I am not sure supreme is going to take care of it.

I am not sure about local rules but Cyril sounds right so confirm everything about rules regarding getting work permit and other important things for working as first officer on caravan in India before investing any money into it.

with the aircraft expected to arrive in a month or so ( as per supreme) and flying would be done regularly between Mumbai and near by states and airports I dont know if supreme would operate it regularly on N registration but anything is possible.

MohitGarodia65 30th Jul 2014 08:14

@cyrilroy21

there is no such thing that you have to be an indian citizen to fly VT registered aircrafts.
Supreme Aviation has multiple foreign expat pilots on their payroll currently flying business jets for Essar, Jindal, India Bulls, state government, etc. (their last vacancy announcement was for Hawkers, gulfstreams, etc.).

Any pilot around the world needs to follow something called FATA with DGCA, including security clearance and conversion, which takes about 4 months.

guys at Supreme or any other company can push and get the same done in about 2.5 months.

cyrilroy21 30th Jul 2014 14:54

@MohitGarodia65

Please read what I have written once again

I have underlined the specific portion for you

You cannot fly for an operator flying Indian Registered aircraft ( VT ) as an FO unless you have an Indian Passport / Original Citizen of India / Person of Indian origin card
My reply was to @flaps35 when he mentioned that he will be joining as First Officer (FO) and he later mentioned that he is from the Netherlands

I am pretty sure you are aware that the DGCA does not allow foreigners to be hired as a First Officer

Van-Driver 30th Jul 2014 18:34

Mohit you must be from Supreme to have such great knowledge about the company?

thegrapevine 31st Jul 2014 05:27

Hehehehehe... is this guy serious??? lol..... this is the biggest joke of 2014 without a doubt.. :D:D:D

MohitGarodia65 3rd Aug 2014 05:36

@Van Driver

you are right about Supreme sending a common offer letter to all captains and FO.. i tried to negotiate for the Captains salary, but was denied royally!!

the HR mentioned they cant have different packages for their pilots (which sounds fair)!!

and yes - its going to be VT registered, not N.. they have obtained the NOC from the DGCA to import an operate 6 Caravans!!!

they need like 96 pilots total.. lot of flying..

MohitGarodia65 3rd Aug 2014 05:41

the other facts i called and cleared with HR at Supreme:

yes, they would not pay any thing for the training or type rating.. which is strange..

however, they are not charging any money for any procedure or any advance.. so yes, its all genuine and no expenses involved..

the other good thing was, they would not let you pursue your type rating or out of pocket expenses, unless the DGCA and government of India clears you for appointing as a pilot with Supreme.. once they have a green signal, they would discuss the offer once again with you, sign a contract, 2 weeks training in USA at YOUR expense, land in India and start flying..

MohitGarodia65 3rd Aug 2014 05:47

@ van driver

negative.. i went there for the interview..

i had like 1000 questions on my mind so i chose to clear with the CEO who was present there..

he is a rude, arrogant man..

but anyways, i got all the information needed and hence i am sharing with you all..

Van-Driver 3rd Aug 2014 15:37

Cool, nice to know about the company, I really hope they start very soon.
Looks like you really did good with the interview as your Facebook profile mention you have already joined Supreme as Asst. Chief Operating Officer.

https://www.facebook.com/ca.garodia?fref=ts

Congrats

I am happy for you

All the Best with the Job.
Thank for all the Info
TC

pilotchute 3rd Aug 2014 16:03

Mohit,

For six vans you would need 36 pilots max. 96????? Where did you get that number from?

Mr.CB 4th Aug 2014 05:20

Supreme JOKE

How many times are thy going to recruit pilots? Plus these guys are even asking money from already type rated Pilots on Caravan. Company's so called "Offer Letter" states that they would hire on a contract of 1 year.. that means that after spending huge amount what do you get in return.??? 700$ a month!! and Yes not just the CEO, but the entire management is rude, arrogant and has no respect for their employees, and I even heard from a Chief Pilot from XYZ company that there is a lobby of Caravans operator's who are now trying to bully people. they will hire them, ask them to pay for their training, pay them salary from their own deposited money(INR 15 LAKHS) , and ask them to leave the company after an year to make way for another bunch of JA who would happily pay for their training etc.. and the cycle continues... so no to these CARVANs CANNIBALs..

thegrapevine 4th Aug 2014 05:25

Congrats
you are associated with Supreme Aviation since 2010 according to your facebook profile, then how come you met the CEO, the so called arrogant man just a few days back....

Also you have been offered a position by the HR of the company that you are already associated with in the capacity of a Asst COO?? Waaaoo..:D:D

Also if you have been offered a position on the Carvan, you must be having an Indian Licence but according to my sources in the DGCA, no one with your name is holding any licence whatsoever.. Something really fishy here... guys lets try to unearth these buggers lets get as much info as we can on them...... they are a bunch of cheats ..

Van-Driver 4th Aug 2014 08:53

It wont be surprising if the Mohits's PPRUNE profile is fake and operated by some one else from Supreme as Mohit doesnt seem to be from aviation background (according to his facebook profile), just like first few post were marked by Admin as those were planted by Supreme aviation itself.

Even I wonder what happened to the pilots who were recruited in last recruitment by Supreme for Caravan(If any joined). 15 lakhs for Caravan is too much, you can get your rating for 8000$ from Pan-Am or Max 13000$ from Flight safety.

this is what i got when i googled about them.. now you can see for yourself..

FAA probes Addison flying school after license questions arise | wfaa.com Dallas - Fort Worth

Flying takes training, but what if the instructor teaching you wasn't licensed to do so?
One North Texas man has filed a complaint with the FAA against Supreme Aviation in Addison for that very reason. Now, there's a full blown investigation.
For AJ Williams, flying has always been a dream. So, he went for it, choosing to get his license with Supreme Aviation in Addison. But, an hour before his final exam, he learned one of his teacher's, Amit Agarwal, didn't have an instructor's license.

"It was shocking," he said. "It was definitely shocking."

The FAA says Supreme Aviation is under investigation. As the probe is under way, they are only allowed to rent planes out.
Agarwal surrendered his ability to fly tours around Dallas, which Supreme Aviation heavily advertised.
"He was giving those aerial tours without a commercial license," Williams said.

Agarwal agreed to talk with News 8 because he said he believes he has done nothing wrong, citing a policy called Part 61.

"Under that regulation, anyone can do training anywhere in the country," he said. "So, we are flying; we are flying every day; we are training every day."

The FAA is building its case against the group following several complaints that Supreme Aviation doesn't comply with federal requirements.
Agarwal admitted he doesn't have a license to teach in the United States, but claimed he does have such licenses from Australia, Asia and other "different countries."

"I'm not teaching here," he said.

But, his name and signature were on log sheets, which he later admitted. He said he had taught Williams on "a few flights."

"I don't understand how they are continuing to be able to fly the planes and provide training even after all of this," Williams said.

For Williams, he's out $100 in flight time and worries Agarwal could be putting people in danger.

"Not only, 'Here I'll take your money to give you training I'm not suppose to give you, but I'll also sign you off to fly cross country,'" he said.

That is something only an instructor can approve.

Williams switched flight schools and made up the hours spent with Agarwal. However, he said he still wants to see Supreme Aviation grounded.
