3 missed Approachs

Heard some A320 operating airline in India did 3 missed approaches in VEBS & then finally managed to land the aircraft in severe cyclonic storm.
Kudos to the pilots...!!!

If conditions were that bad he should of diverted.If a captain had done that in the west he would be sacked.

Doesn't sound right. As per DGCA regulations you have to divert after 2 missed approaches. Please correct me if I am wrong

Maybe the alternates were worse, so he had to keep on trying. How can you judge so easy?
