Is Mandala hiring pilots for its new base in Bali??

I heard they are hiring for the new Bali base, both SFO and Captain. Mainly international flying and good layovers.

Any T&C's, min. hours, contact details?? Any help is appreciated.

I do not know for locals applicant, but a friend applied but had thanks but no thanks reply, stating the reasons as follow;

1. Minimum 1500 TT
2. Minimum 500 HRS on A318/319/320/321
3. Must posses an ICAO ATPL or fATPL
4. Minimum 100hrs as PIC (PIC hours obtained during flight training are accepted)

He had;

770HRs TT, 396HRS A320, 108PIC and got rejected.

would also like to know the salary for F.O and if they are upgrading expats.

Capt. 4500 TT, 1000 hours large transport category aircraft, 500 PIC on the A320, flown in the last 12 months

FO 1500 TT, 1000 hours on large transport category aircraft (turboprop or jet) and 500 hours on the A320

Upgrade for suitably qualified FO's possible

Capt salary approx. USD 8800 net plus housing and utility
FO salary approx. USD 6100 net plus housing and utility

JKT and DPS base

:ugh: Problem is how to send them the application. I went to their website and downloaded the PDF document. Apparently this is an interactive pdf so there is supposed to be a "submit button" on the pdf document but there is some problem with it and the button is not visible.

Is 8800 gross or net (take home). And how is 8800 USD for living in Indonesia?


There's quite a difference thou between the Tiger Singapore and Tiger Indonesia pilots. Tiger Singapore guys get 212,000 per annum gross. That's a little over 14,000 gross.

My pleasure. It is USD 8800 net plus housing allowance. Singapore is by far more expensive to live in and the salary is gross.
