737 renewal.
 

Hi guys,

Does anyone know of a place in Asia where one can renew a 737 JAA rating obviously TRTO must be approved and all that , cant seem to find one , thanks in advance.

With the new rules, I am not sure. Last year a couple of friends with JAA 737 type ratings were able to renew at Altheon in Singapore. Not sure if you can still do that, but they have a JAA certified NG sim, but you will have to call them and check on the TRE.

Do they have a TRE working for them or would I have to fly one in at my own expense buisness class ticket etc? if so it would be cheaper to just go to Europe , what re these new rules you speak of?

yes CAE singapore has a visiting JAA and FAA examiners... I think they only accept applicants from active crew from airlines.

Give them a call... I think they charge 500USD per hour SiM time..

There called ato's in Europe now and not trto.
