LASERS AGAIN AT CHENNAI

lasers again !
an emirates flt from dubai to chennai had to go-around after the pilot reported a sharp green laser beam hitting the left cockpit window on approach to rw 25 flyers to chennai pl be careful. Police suspect somebody on the small hill to the right and combing ops are on

Had the same thing happen in HBX about a week ago.

Now this aint good. I hope the AAI & Police become more proactive in this issue. It probably is from the hill next to the airport. Funnily Enough I had an laser attack while departing Dubai !!

Ah .. I ve had a laser attack & probably all my colleagues did on almost every landing and departure out of Riydah/Jeddah. No I am not kidding when I say every time. Some times even while cruising over riyadh you get hit by laser beams. The funniest is when I report laser activity to the Saudi ATC, I get a "uhhh roggjarr" !!

ps. In jeddah you ve got a shopping mall not too far from Rwy34R Approach that sends two powerful beams into the sky !! :hmm:
