The good news just keeps coming ! You might be a Captain on the crew list with China Southern, but you are the relief Captain if you are a westerner. Just like an F/O with an extra stripe.

By the time you take out the required tax for the Australian authorities, you monthly income drops down to 13K per month. No staff travel entitlements, no superannuation and no integrity !

So for roughly $15,00 US/month one can sit right seat and ingest cigarette smoke for hours on end?:ugh:
