I'm a bit confused. They have mentioned that candidates can submit their application (PPL/CPL/ATPL) by speed/regd post. Do we have to submit the online application first and then send all the documents by post?

hawaijahaj 19th Oct 2011 13:22

yes ...you have to submit the online application first...take out the print and send it with the required documents to the CEO.:ok::ok:

No you don't have to, its for the people who don't have their computer number. you just simply go to udaan.nic.in, on the bottom left you would find "old pilot candidate registration", click on it get yourself registered with the website( if you already have your computer no). go to homepage again, select "Pilot-Online Application for Allotment of Roll number" and wallah! you can apply for exam

@For People Planning to Apply for ATPL in OCT

Hey, I just registered on Udaan. Now after that on Login, the Screen just says my name and everything else is blank.

Is that how it is for you guys too?

I guess options would come up once they give out the Schedule for the ATPL Exams for OCT Session.

Just curious if your Screen is Empty too.

Thanks

^^ There is a Drop down menu on the top left where it says examination.

Hello guys,
I have two questions regarding DGCA ATPL(ATPLG) exam. First, Do we need to appear for Regs also, as far as my knowledge goes people who already have their Indian cpl does not have to write it as they have already cleared it, is it correct? Second, In the dgca oral exam form in the new website, udaan.nic.in(nice name by the way "UDAAN", IC 123 aapko udaan bharne ki ijazat hai :E) there is a session column having four options, 1st special session, 2nd special session, online session, regular session, which one we have to select, first two we can't as website does not permit us( i have to appear for NAV interview). plz guide

Hey Thanks dude!

The way EXAMINATION is written, it looks like a Normal Heading Bar with Text.

It Should look like a Menu or something.

Anyways Thanks :)

Its mentioned in Guidelines
Only those EXAM CATEGORIES and PAPERS will be available for candidate selection, whose schedule is already made available. Categories & Papers scheduled for OMR Exams will not be visible in the Exam application form for online Exam and vice versa.

When I am logging in, a blank page is shown with only WELCOME (my name), tht is it ??
acc to the above thing we can apply right now as schedule and dates for the examination are not out yet.

@koolchaos3188
how did it worked out for u buddy, even m using chrome

coolboy007 20th Oct 2011 15:05

The guideline says we cant apply till schedule and venues are announced for a particular session but once logged in and under the examinations tab - we can apply for it :ugh:
So now should we apply or should we not?

P.S: Please guys dont forget to log out when you are finished, it takes hell lotta time for dgca servers to recognise the session has expired.

Can anyone please help me out with my query?

There was a mistake in the subject I chose for the ATPL exam. I wanted to appear for Radio Aids and Instruments, but I clicked on Navigation by mistake, which I realized only towards the end after submitting the form. The online application form has already been printed out which states Navigation. But on the application form printed from the DGCA website, I have written YES under Radio Aids and Instruments. Do you think they would change it back to Radio Aids and Instruments if I request them to do so? Have any of you faced this problem before the online application system came into place?

tolip111111 21st Oct 2011 08:07

i payed through the net banking option and even got a computer generated mail giving me my temp id. But the problem is when i try to download my examination form in order to print it using the temp id provided by the dgca, it says please enter a valid temp id!!:ugh::ugh::ugh:..
what am i suppose to do now??

mike_sierra 21st Oct 2011 08:10

I cleared ATPL Instr and Radio (written + orals) but I didn't clear Gen Nav orals. I have 3 shots at it..now does that mean i have to attempt them consecutively ? If not, how long are the ATP writtens valid till ?

Anyone here who can help me with this?
