Frozen ATPL in Philippines.
 

Any of you have any knowledge about acquiring a frozen ATPL from CAAP Philippines.
Any info about requirements, process, ground training etc will be highly appreciated.

Does Philippines even have a concept of a "frozen ATPL"? I think not.
The only people who gave the "frozen" ATPL exam were the MPL guys as part of their license requirements. In fact for an MPL a frozen ATPL ground schooling is a requirement but it took a while(very long while) for CAAP to implement that as they did not have any concept of accepting candidates for the ATPL exam without the requisite hours.

..Unless of course things have changed drastically in the recent past ;)

fernandeztv is correct no such thing as a (f)ATPL in the Philippines although you can convert/validate a (f)ATPL onto the equivalent Philippine licence - CPL/IR + ATPL theory.

so we need atleast 1500 hours to be able for atpl license in Philippines.
can these 1500 hours all be in single engine? just like few other countries, does the caap also issue a single engines atpl?

As far as i know, you need to be rated and current on a 2 crew aircraft to be able to get your ATPL. You can have the 1500 hrs single engine provided you meet the other requirements such as night, cross country and instrument time. Also you will be needing 1000 hrs as PIC.

if you can get yourself rated on an islander/bonanza/queen air you can get the ATPL check done on those aircraft's as they are required to have a co-pilot.
