dgca SPECIAL ATTEMPT

when is dgca special aTTEMPT 2011 in june??

Dushrox 8th May 2011 08:06

there was a special press release by the current DG of the DGCA stating that all the special attempts stand as deemed suspended cause there were cases of it being open book of the officers` children!!

So as of now no special attempts ! Even if you apply for it your Roll number would be issued for the next regular attempt.

Ankit Kotecha 8th May 2011 10:20

rahulred5 8th May 2011 15:08

You want to be a pilot and taken seriously ? First learn to use correct grammar and English instead of txtspk.

sec 3 8th May 2011 15:10

Hey tanya, you might as well forget the exams, you are too lazy to even spell properly. No company will hire you:sad:

tanyaaaa26 8th May 2011 15:46

Thankyou for the opinions rahulred5 and sec3..But i guess for being a pilot more than english your hardwork is required..isnt it??But anyways thanks for your valauble comments

coolboy007 8th May 2011 16:38

Does it mean there would be no special attempts from now? Is it only for June attempt or there would be no special attempts :{

rahulred5 8th May 2011 16:57

You are most welcome Tanya ... and btw the correct spelling is VALUABLE

tanyaaaa26 8th May 2011 17:43

@rahulred5 are you planning or you are a english teacher??

Pulkdahulk 8th May 2011 18:02

@Tanya - I would support Rahulred because your last statement did not make sense at all. What do you mean by

are you planning or you are a english teacher??
Are you planning what???

or You are 'A' English Teacher??

It implies broken English and not finishing up the sentence.

I know for sure hard work is required but if you can't speak proper grammar, forget it that you are going to be issued English Level Proficiency Test by DGCA then....

Also, the Moderator of the Website wants all pilots to be professional in their replies so if you do not want to listen to any of us fine, but at least please respect the person who created the website and has laid down some rules.

Thanks

tanyaaaa26 8th May 2011 18:09

@pulkdahulk thankyou so much for the advice you gave ,and i am really taking all the suggestions you people gave me seriously. Thanks a ton!
And ya you are absolutely right, even speaking or writing proper english is also a part of hard work only, which i will try to improve in me as you all said to.
Thanks all!

Dushrox 8th May 2011 18:22

Alright. Lay it rest you guys. Enough. Make a point to the point and help each other out, thats whole deal about this community.

tanyaaaa26 8th May 2011 18:32

Thanks Dushrox

Special attempts are done. Not happening anymore.

200hp_stall_freak 8th May 2011 18:54

yup special attempts are finished thanks to the Director General.....now if you donot pass any paper in one attempt u'll have to give that paper in the next regular attempt....Each paper is valid for 2.5 years and you get 10 attempts per subject...hope this helps...:ok:

superdunkaroos 8th May 2011 19:11

Where did you guys hear about the cancellation of special exams altogether?
As far as i know only the last special exam was cancelled, reasons for which are given on the dgca website.

and validity of cpl, atpl papers is 5 years
http://dgca.nic.in/cars/D7B-B1.pdf

6.6 Validity of Written Papers
The Technical and other examinations for the issue of a licence, rating or type
rating under Schedule II of Aircraft Rules, 1937 shall be completed within a
period of two and a half years immediately preceding the date of application
for the issue of the licence or rating, except for issue of Commercial Pilot’s
7CIVIL AVIATION REQUIREMENT SECTION 7
SERIES’B’ PART I 12
NOVEMBER, 2010
Licence (CPL) and Airline Transport Pilot’s Licence (ATPL), and for issue of
CPL and ATPL, such period shall be five years.

coolboy007 8th May 2011 19:52

Totally agree with Superdunkaroos :ok:

I had read that only LAST special exam was cancelled due to some unforeseen circumstances at DGCA thanks to the fake pilots scam.

On the other hand the Revised schedule of examinations has only regular exams of July and October in it - no mention of any special exams.
Confused:ugh:
