Avsec heighten after Osama's killing?
Flying through some SEA airports it looks like there wasn't any enhanced security procedures; is complacency setting in? Al Qaeda is not likely to attempt any retaliatory attacks on American soil or embassies but soft targets like American friendly nations, American planes, Americans tourists etc.
|
I think there is no directive from the US TSA to that effect. All the small players in geopolitics in this region sings to their puppet master the US. So I guess no initiatives will be taken unless the various security agencies in the US give the go ahead.
|
Now, give a thought to those talibanised chaps who went to pakistan for the " tabligh " stints in the late 80s & 90s. Will their names surface anywhere amongst the flashdrives found in abottabad? Bigger avsec risk don't you think?
|
You are opening a whole vat of worms with this talibanised tabligh thingy!
With the Arab " spring ' uprising the western powers that be have determined that Al Qaeda has been sidelined and many aviation authorities have in fact lowered their alert levels prior to Osama's demise. just operated through LAX, no sign of heightened TSA activities but lots of coppers on the ground side. |
Who cares ? -

bogey alert, bogey alert....a former colleague spied an " osama " look alike during an Air Asia X interview recently! Looked like him, talked like him, fidgetted like him but maybe not him. So osama must have a lot of doubles like saddam; guess obama should release the photographs to dispel any doubts.
|
Now, that would be a certain pariah bai by the name of g-string. Bingo? The nose, the nose the nose......100% like bin ladin's snauzer!
|
There was indeed enhanced TSA activities at KLAX; albeit seamlessly. I noticed there were may M16 armed teams lurking behind pillars and secluded areas. On the ground side there was quite heavy police presence and the blocked off quite a number of drop off points for passengers.
|
The nose, the nose the nose Seriously I think quite a number of operators are going to let their guard down. Ten over years of tension, stress and countless dollar down the drain on account of this turbanised piece of turd. Security is not cheap and of course the TSA contractors made heaps out of this fiasco and the yanks wonder why.:ugh: |
Depending on how much the fat bangla and the air asia x guys **** out of their six. Pariah alert, heard that g string is brown nosing lek to get into aax!

extreme anti-osamaism?
This recent yahoo news ;
Two Muslim religious leaders say they were removed from a commercial flight in America and told it was because the pilot refused to fly with them aboard. Masudur Rahman, who is also an adjunct instructor of Arabic at the University of Memphis, on Friday said he and another imam had already been allowed to board a domestic flight out of Memphis when they were asked to leave the plane. Transportation Security Administration spokesman John Allen in Atlanta confirmed the incident and said it was not initiated by the agency. A Delta Air Lines spokeswoman said the flight was operated by Atlantic Southeast Airlines, which also is based in Atlanta. ASA didn't immediately respond to telephone calls seeking comment. Rahman said he was dressed in traditional Indian clothing and his travelling companion was dressed in Arab garb, including traditional headgear. Rahman said was travelling with Mohamed Zaghloul of the Islamic Association of Greater Memphis. The aircraft pulled away from the gate, but the pilot then announced the plane must return, Rahman said. When it did, the imams were asked to go back to the boarding gate where Rahman said they were told the pilot was refusing to accept them because some other passengers could be uncomfortable. Rahman said Delta officials talked with the pilot for more than a half-hour, but he still refused. The men were taken to a lounge and booked on a later flight. They called the Council on Islamic-American Relations, a Muslim civil rights and advocacy group in Washington, D.C. "It's racism and bias because of our religion and appearance and because of misinformation about our religion." Rahman said. "If they understood Islam, they wouldn't do this." |
The airline has apologised albeit with the caveat that the pilot took into account passenger sentiments about the presence of the two highly visible muslim clerics. Now why do such passengers want to travel in such garb in an airplane; in an evacuation or ditching such attires can become a hindrance in a fast moving hazardous situation. Religious statement? See if you dare statement?
