DGCA cross country HELP
Hi,
Can anyone please tell as per DGCA should each leg of the cross country be at least 100N.M. or can it be a round trip also. Thank you |
the radius should be more than 100nm..not the roundtrip..atleast one leg should be 100nm.

DJ Fly boy- Thanks for the info
I think i have put myself in a pretty bad situation, although i was aware that cross countries have to be more than 100nm I had no clue that at least one leg has to be 100nm. I just finished my cpl, i guess its too late now...all my cross countries are more than 100nm but half of them doesn't have a 100nm leg, they all are pretty much round trip:ugh::ugh::ugh::{ :confused::confused::confused::sad::sad:any suggestion on this |
I know many that breezed through less than a 100 nm one leg and still got a DGCA license, but more than that a round trip. Eg: A-B-A = 160NM.
Hmmm, those were the days but who knows what it is like now at DGCA. |
@aviator86
I personally know 5 students who got their Indian CPL issued WITHOUT IR last month only because out of the 50 hrs PIC X-country requirement they only had 20- 30 hrs of x-country with more than 100NM one leg. My suggestion: don't submit your papers right now when you already know they are going to reject it. |
