DGCA Exam validity Issue

I know dat dgca has extended validity of cpl papers to 5 years 4m 2.5 years but ma que is dat if i have cleared my papers in july 2006 attempt. Wil it be stay valid till july 2011 attempt or what?

@ JImmy r u sure about dis bro? Cause some r saying dat when d rule came, u should have all ur papers current dan only dis rule wil be applicable to you..i m so confused...can u plz help me out...thankssss
