Day VFR Airports

Do they have DVFR Airports in India? If they do, are commercial operator's allowed to fly from these Airports. If they do not have such Airports, is there a provision in the Regulations for these Airports to be to be built and certified for operations?

Yes they have a few such airports, Tuticorin (VOTK) in the far south being one of them. Commercial operators are flying in and out of them every day (weather permitting of course)

I wouldn't be able to quote you the CAR which sets out the requirements for operations to such an airfield but maybe someone on here can point you in the right direction.
