Flying schools in Bangladesh and Malaysia

Hello,

I am currently training for my private pilots license in the UK and have about 20 hours under my belt. However I am going on holiday to Bangladesh and Malaysia for a month, meaning I won't be getting any flying hours for a whole month. My instructor suggested I find a flying school and take a couple of lessons whilst I am on holiday. He said that I could record those hours into my logbook.

Does anyone know of any flying schools in the North East of Bangladesh around the Sylhet area or in Langkawi, Malaysia?

Thanks
MC

Here's a flight school in Langkawi:

HM Aerospace Sdn Bhd - Flight Training Centre

I know nothing about them. You'll probably have to explain to them you just want some dual hours with them and see what they say.

Good luck

Thanks for that, it's much appreciated. Do you also know of any flying clubs in Kuala Lumpur as well?

I found one called the Royal Selangor Flying club Royal Selangor Flying Club. I emailed them but have not heard back.

Thanks
MC

Flying Clubs in Malaysia
I would like you to contact the Royal Selangor Flying Club in Kuala Lumpur, and let them know when you will be in KL. Dual flights can be organised and the cost will be RM850 per hour.
Current aircraft are Cessna 172 (ancient) and an Eagle 150B (modern).
The telephone number is +60 3 2141 1957 or mail [email protected]

I am a Committee member and will be pleased to assist you in maintaining your hours. Please PM with your personal details and itinerary.

There are several interesting destinations about one hour flying from KL such as the Taman Negara, the worlds oldest rainforest, and tropical islands such as Pulau Pangkor.

No trip is complete without a circumnavigation of the Petronas Twin Towers, at 1nm separation, of course.
