Belly landing at Subang.

Anyone else got more info on the Air Force Cessna twin that did the gear up emergency landing the other night? News is landing gear failed to extend. Saw the aircraft being taken away from the runway when I came in today. No one seriously injured that night.

One flight (not mine) had the whole crew end up standing at the apron to watch it touch down!

I'm sure a textbook emergency landing was implemented. No info on the crew though. Just one question, what about manual gear extension?

The Cessna 406 are between 25-20 years old. The company that produced the aircraft had since closed shop 10-15 years ago. Spare parts are being fitted from refurbished parts. It's no wonder they keep doing a belly landing. Plus no manual extension for the u/c.

The govt. should had scrapped this a/c a long time ago. But money had gone elsewhere...
