SIA cadet logdging?

Hi Guys,

I would like to know as to whether we are allowed to bring our spouses along to Australia while we are undergoing flight training. Was wondering,is there anybody who rented a place near the flight school instead of taking up the accomodation offered by SIA during training? Is it allowed for us to stay with our spouse or are all the cadets expected to stay under one roof?I really appreciate if you guys could give any insights on this issue.

Best Regards,

Vibes,

To answer your question: No...

All SIA cadets have to stay in the accommodation block opposite the College in Jandakot Airport, and it's a twin room, meaning you have to share with another cadet. There are strict rules on leaving the compound, cadets are only allowed to leave between 1530 hours to 2359 hours everyday including weekend, except when their instructor is on leave. If you need to leave the compound other than the stipulated time, you need to obtain permission beforehand, but strictly no permission of staying out of the compound.

There are cases when some cadets were caught staying out, and sad to say some of them are no longer in SIA anymore.
