Do you know any of FAA international office in South Asia or Far East? If I want to apply for a FAA ATP license with a type rating, how should I start? You will be appreciated if you can tell me something on that! Or even a FAA consulting telephone number is great for me!

Try to find an FAA examiner to give you a checkride in your home city, or maybe on a trip passing through a US port like Guam/Honolulu.

Just buy him a return airfare so he can ride on the same plane as you.

I don't know your situation, but this spring I assisted two fellows through the process in the US as they were becoming crew on an "N" registered Learjet in Singapore. They both held ATPL issued by "other" countries. They were required to sit the FAA ATP written test and pass the ATP flight check (done in conjnction with their Lear training / type rating).

I believe that IF you hold an ATPL with type ratings from another country, the FAA will grant a "reciprocal" CPL with type ratings based solely on that.

There is a form that must be submitted to the FAA to verify your licenses and experience in either case. The FAA will check with the Aviation Authority in the country of issue of your licenses.

Anyone how to get an ATP in the PHilippines?

this is what i have so far..

FAA CPL/IR Multi..

so far the info i got is to built 10 hours then take a check ride and of course other misc docss.. i only have a written ATP..could i do all the conversion and take the ATP checkride all at the same time?
