IAC Global and Ibex Airlines a Japanese nightmare

IAC and Ibex Airlines

Im not sure how this contract up here in Sendai got such a good rep.

Facts: All Foreign Capts have left in disgust, some at the end of the contract, most before. One guy "walked" off the contract never to return. Ibex recently used a JCAB check ride to terminate a foreigner in the most disgusting circumstances. He was basically set up by the ANA check captain, who did as much as possible to be obstructive to the guy under check.

IAC frequently will not pay contractual allowances and in one case a guy had a 2.4 million yen bonus that was owing withheld. The last person to resign was not paid his last months salary and had an additional 50,000 yen withheld for "processing emails". After signing the contract your comprehensive health insurance will be removed. IAC relies on commuting captains to use their home countries medical insurance system, which if your an american is a bit of a joke.

The FC,s are treated with contempt by the current senior ANA checker. During a recent JCAB check, in front of the FC he stated the "these foriegners are skill less and have no right to be here".

While being head hunted by IAC for secondment with Ibex, you will be told that after completing this contract, there will be a "seemless transtion into other ANA branch companies" most notably Air Japan or ANK. This is total rubbish, the only guys who have tried have been knocked back. The vindictive nature of Ibex managment is such they do not want to see someone furthering there career outside of Ibex. If they cant have you, then no one in Japan will.

You would have to be utterly mad to sign a contract with this organisation. For those that do, YOU WERE WARNED!

On a lighter note, sorry if we get in your way out of FKS, it would be my pleasure to let you take poll position!!

Japan Contract Pilots :: Log in

So which one is it? It would be nice if it is heard from other IBEX pilots on this regard because I get a little curious when a grand total of 4 post from the original poster are all negative and after all you did post this " I'm not sure how this contract up here in Sendai got such a good rep." So the contract does have a good rep? I don't care either way, I'm pretty happy with my employment here at Air Japan but in the interest of fairness I would like to hear from more IBEX guys:confused:

I'm 99.999% sure that you are Tony Soprano Japan Contract Pilots :: Log in

You are being edited on a web site that barely has any traffic? Interesting

So far so good here. Probably better than just good to be honest. There's a few IAC guys who are on their second contract (that is the best advertising I can think of), and speak very well of the airline. People are happy and the airline is growing.

If you want more info, PM me.
