Spicejet v Jet v Air India Express

Can you guys get back on track with the thread question instead of squabble over whether or not hotels are 5 star or Bombay Belly barns? Who gives a ****? Tell us about the companies ... :8

Spicejet v Jet v Air India Express

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am considering applying for a 737NG captain's job in India.Spicejet attracts generally favourable comment but I understand that the leave is unpaid (apart from a travel allowance),whereas I believe that Jet and Air India Express pilots are paid normal salary during leave. On the face of it the annual earnings at Spicejet would be a lot lower than at Jet or AIE - are there other factors to consider when comparing the 3 airlines which would make the pay differential less significant eg better quality accommodation at Spicejet?
Also I understand that Spicejet work their Captain's very hard-how do Jet and AIE compare? I have done the appropriate search with some older information but I would appreciate up to date feedback.Thankyou.

Aloha Demise

Hello, new here, just lost a job after 19 years...I've been seriously looking into SpiceJet and just sent the paperwork in. I've been talking with Capt Bob Murry. Does anyone recommend a recruitment company or are you going direct? Anyone who can fill me in via here or by PM I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance..

Sorry for your loss.
Aloha was a great company.
I'm sure you're gonna rebound quickly.

Highspeed, I'm curious what you find in your pursuit of Spicejet, as I am thinking of heading in their direction also. I just started the process myself. I am lured by their flexibility in rosters, and seemingly positive attitude toward the pilot group. A lot of aspects of Spicejet work for me in relation to where I am at now. Good luck going forward, sorry about you losing your family at Aloha.
