Where to buy some left seat B737 time?
Where to buy some left seat B737 time?
Type rated and current with several thousand F/O hours on type. |
OK
Whats this bull****
buy some hours in left seat on B37???? |
i have some i can sell . it will cost you .big money
|
Its not bull****. I have a few thousand hours on type in the right seat, but need to buy 100 hours left seat time to get a job contract 737 captain.
So no more stupid comments please - only relative information welcome. |
huh?
that means u want to rent a 737 for hour building?.. hehe.. u should invite us all to be ur passenger.. hehe.. or u want to buy the capt seat?.. :} :ugh: |
Flying an a/c from the left hand seat does not equal command hours. If someone is offering you a command job and you have no experience then you are bull****ting your way.
If you have any experience working for a proper airline, your PF sectors can count for "in command, under supervision". However, just because you transfer to the left hand seat, does not put you "in comand". Under supervision, possibly and any sectors where you are PNF will be P2 hours. Just because you have 100 hours in the left hand seat should not be considered as anything but 'left hand seat experience'. Would you like to let us know who the contractor is and who the flying is for? :hmm: |
Left hand seat
Heading Select,
What series of the 737 did you want to fly on ? Anyway, here is a mix or Classics and NG series. Try Air Asia in Malaysia, Jet Airways or Spice Jet in India, Lion Air or Adam Air in Indonesia (not sure though if they still allow expats to work there but way I look at it, it's a training flight), Philippine Airlines is still operating the B737-300 series for domestic ops. Good luck mate D6 |
Thanks D6 - either EFIS or NG - a couple of those might be a possibility.
cargo boy - whats your problem? do you know what you're talking about? I am P1 rated with 3000+ hours P2 on type. Every pilot at one time has their first 100 hours as P1 on a type, no? I am quite happy (and willing to pay) to have a company captain in right seat, but I will fly/log P1 on type. HS |
have you flown as captain on 50ton jets before?if yes then ok otherwise 100 hrs and a job in an indian/asian outfit is a way to kill your self.no funny comments sir just an advice from a TRE .
|
Tell me 380, how do all those indian/asian outfit F/Os manage to upgrade?
And what is the significance of 50ton? Contract airline has checked me out and above the required standard. Its not exactly rocket science, is it? Nothing personal, but I have flown with several TREs I would not trust to drive my car round the block. And thats an understatement. :E |
heading select,
india not an OPTION for you. they are NOT going to hire you with less than 500 hours on the LHS on type. they may want you as an FO, but without any chance of an upgrade. cheers |
i dont know how your guys make TRE s , but we make them drive around the block a few times.command on airplane is not about efficiency of handling an airplane alone besides it can get very overwhelming to fly in command with little experience in an new environment as these days the right seat is filled in with very inexperienced crew.
end of discussion for me , just going to practise my driving around the block . cheers |
i suspect this may be a joke. why not get a job and wait for an upgrade like every other sucker.
|
on_the_right,
You have NO idea what you are talking about, they WANT me + 100 hr. 380, I have several thousand hours P1 - but not on type. birdie, IF you knew about contracts, you dont get an upgrade. |
sure, happy flying in india then. you seem to have done your research/homework !
|
Heading Select, at one stage Eagle Jet Int'l was placing people as FO on heavies. Maybe try and contact them and see if they can help. Since you are about to become Capt maybe it will be a little bit easier to get you in as a training Captain. Either that or try this person [email protected], she is a recruiter for an Indian airline. Not sure if she can help but it's worth a try.
Guys, let's give HS a break shall we. Looking for work in aviation is hard as it is without these comments that doesn't help him. Goodluck HS. 8 Ball |
Give this guy a break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you all gone mad!!!!!!!! It is precisely this type of scab that gets all pilots terms and conditions reduced. 1) Buy your own uniform. 2) Pay for your own rating. 3) Buy your own meals. 4) Pay for your own HOTAC The bloody list goes on and on. And then this scab will be the very person that will complain when he finds that he is not getting a good deal after he has settled into the LHS and has found out what is happening in the real world. It is this guy and his type that is reducing airline pilots T&C's worldwide. Shame shame shame on you. := What is happening here is a guy that is trying to jump the Que not a poor bugger looking for a job down on his luck. Just a bludger looking for the easiest way out at the expense of his colleges. :* Wooblah. |
Oh boy, another smart one that resigned in 89...
Thats a VERY naughty trying to label me a "scab" - I am NOT taking anyones job, NOR jumping any quewe. I am simply qualifying (CAA requirement) myself for a contract job ALREADY offered...on the SAME T&Cs as everyone else. It is also my observation that MANY guys that SAY one thing for others, but DO another for themselves. Just look at all the blue shirts that flock to Easyjet, Jetstar, and other LCCs...YES, jumping the qwewe. No more crying please from these losers of the past. :{ All relevant information welcomed. :ok: |
It is precisely this type of scab that gets all pilots terms and conditions reduced. |
if you want you can head to india and talk to spice jet etc, fly with them for a rew months in the right seat and they will convert you as capt ... but for a period of time you will be under a bond. not many experienced first officers with altp these days in that part of the world.all the best .
