Hi there Guys , I wonder if anyone can help me out , its going to be a tricky question I know ,here I go ...
I am a CPL pilot ATPL frozen with 560tt and rated on ATR 42/72 everything JAR, also CPL multi and IFR ,FAA , I speak english and spanish ( I have both passports as well ), and looking for a job anywhere in India , Vietman ,Laos , Myanmar , or South America & Caribbean , Africa wouldnt mind either , hopefully flying the ATR but could fly also piston ,I have written to too many places already without luck , anyone please can help ? thank you very much everyone [email protected]:ok: |
To get a chance to fly in Africa or Asia, you generally need at least around 1000 hours TT. It is absolutely crazy because the maintenance, conditions and salary are more than CRAP overthere !! The only positive point to fly there is to gain lots of hours very quickly... if you manage to stay alive :uhoh: .
Suerte :ok: |
Bangkok Airways looking for drivers...
Try there website |
In Myanmar, try AirMandalay, Air Yangon or airBagan.
If you prefer to remain in europe, try AirContractors, they're getting planes just now. |
perhaps burma
I happen to know from a reliable source that air mandalay in burma has lost a number of pilots of late and if you are rated may I suggest you try them. you can try calling them and ask to speak to mr eric I'm not sure of his last name. I believe he is the person in charge of hiring pilots. Check their website for the tel number.
happy landings! |

Rishworth ATR ads - living NZ??
Has anyone realsed there is an ad for ATR 42 - living in NZ? Heard that is for Air Pac. I also heard they have already sent Mt. Cook guys there. Well, what is this Rishworth ad for then?? Can anyone tell me what is actually going on with Air Pac?? Have they already started to fly?:suspect:
|
I got the following mail from rishworth recently if that's any help. I haven't heard from them since 1 and a half weeks now.
Just wanted to keep you in the loop on what’s going on with the Air Pacific contract. The airline has the aircraft but at this point they are facing some legal issues with regards to being able to use the aircraft domestically. They are ironing this out this week, so I expect to give you another update some time early next week |
Most of the expat jobs I've seen want 500 hrs on type. Admittedly, Rishworth's NZ contract asks for 350... but I've only got just over 100 on type (that'll teach me to go freelance!)... aarrgghh!! Any ideas on which of the many airlines quoted in this thread might be the best bet?
|
the brokker ask's for 500 cause its the Indian minimum for granting a validacion
to fly ATR the best package is Kingfisher after that is JetAirways then Allianceair (also in india, from Indian airlines) all this give tickets to go home evry 6 or 8 weeks depending contract its a confirmed seat, no BS of stby, weeks off aRe "paid" this are commuting jobs, India could get into your head but when you learn to adapt to dirt, honkinig horn noise, it should be ok youll get pump up when you see the money on your b/acc people are very very friendly so no problem for me, better than some places ive been to in the world no Attitude problem so far c ya |
FBOZH,
Thanks for your info. I also have heard that they have a little bit of sorting out to do in Fiji.... I know that there are some shortage in burma but not sure if they still take any expats. Some of my mates are already out from there. Sounds like burma is not really a ' goldenland '. :{ |
