India's new retirement age

It would be very helpful to know from those presently employed in India whether or not the change to an age 65 retirement age is to be applyed to the Ex-Patriot Pilots?

Thanks,

Thats the idea of the DGCA to get retired xpat pilots to fill the shortage in India. Besides start up airlines get Sr. Capts at a lower cost.

The age limit applies to all commercial pilots, Indian or expat.

Thank for the replies, anyone know who has the best deal right now? Both on $$ and on accomodation?

Jet airways is the only airline hiring on quality and not on price.
