Hi BravoJs,
I do have interest in getting a PPL from Seletar. I had met Mr Darshan regards to the course. So how is flying with him? In fact, to pick up the PPL is to pursue my interest of flying. And I also hope to extend the interest to be my long term career (ie commercial). Can anyone here advice should it be beneficial for the any Airline Cadet Pilot selection in future? Please do share anything. Cheers |
Werll generally darshan is a good instructor,
In terms of skills, experince he is probably the best around. Teaching style , i cant comment , varies from person to person and their personal viewpoints. Regards bravo |
I second that- DSG is the best FI around. His teaching style?
Lets just say as long as there is progessive improvement by the student, he won't get up your Ass.Basically he sits there and prevents you from killing yourself while you yourself learn how to fly an aeroplane! If you start developing bad habits he will come down hard... But then at Flying College they bash you with the Knee board!! |
Well if you want to take 60-100 hours and 1 year to get your "restricted" PPL with no cross-country flying at all, I'd say go ahead..... your at the right place.
In my day, it took 50 hrs to cover the same syllabus and that included cross-country flying..... |
