lights in Thailand

Hello Chaps,
I'm coming into the orient for a month, be doing 50 hrs around Thailand and visiting my old hunting grounds. Be there 14th june looking for any advice on remote but interesting airstrips I can squeeze the 172 into. I look to be hiring from Chiang Mai 3000 bt-5000bt (150 172) with 25hrs up north and 25hrs in the notorious Pattaya. any advice welcome. Lao Cambodia I know is not possible from Thailand (unless I pay dearly) or is it? The southern Islands beckons with the onset of the south west monsoon it should be suicide.....great fun.

From Chaing Mai go and check out Mae Hong Son. Thats if you can get between the hills and the mist.

Check out Bang Phra (spelling?) halfway between Bangkok and Pattaya.

Thanks, how many flying hours a day do you reckon I could get this time of year?
