AAsia pilots training....

Hey all,
I've heard rumour saying that AAsia is gonna send its new recruits for type training in Jakarta. Apparently it is a Garuda Trg Ctr. Anyone else heard bout it?? Please post.... Cheers.

Just using their Simulator time. AK is still in the process of obtaining their own Simulator so all training is done on rented MAS Simulator time using Air Asia instructors. Too many crews, too little Simulator time (and instructor time) MAS need to use their own Sim too.

hmmm.... sounds interesting. So does this mean that they wont be using MAS simulator anymore?

Not too sure if they would stop using the MAS facilities but for AA, the cheapest contract wins even if its in Timbaktu. Thats cost saving, i wonder who they going to fly to get there! Lion?
