I applied a while ago and was then asked by cae to fill in the application nearly a month ago. I did as requested and have not even had an email to confirm receipt, or answers to a couple of questions. I even rang and left message with no response. Is this normal?

I appreciate they are no doubt inundated but I am a little concerned at having provided a lot of personal data in the application.

Is it worth applying directly or am I legally bound to cae even though they are uncontactable?

Why do EVA want to know the dates of birth and education levels of your parents and siblings? Not sure how that's relevant to an application. Anyway, I've refused to disclose that information. If they decline my application on account of that, then to hell with them. They don't need to know any of that info.

For them that means you didn't the job that badly, and then they don't want you.

Asking for parents DOB and occupation is common in some Asian countries. They may also want that info down the track for visa processing.
If you don't want to disclose then you don't need a job that much. It's not like they are asking for your bank account details.

they will eventually ask for bank account info because that's how they deposit your salary.
