Air Asia Indonesia

Hi guys!

I am looking for someome who is currently employed by Air Asia Indonesia. (Or perhaps has been).
As a family we really would like to move to Bali so I am very interested into this airline. Unfortunately there is no direct way to look for jobs specifically at Bali as there is only the main Air Asia website.

Please PM me with any kind of info :-) !!!

Ciao!!

They did hire a small number of expats many years ago and I believe never hired since. Being a expat captain or FO in Indo now is pretty much impossible, just a few jobs on ATR and thats it.

Even Lion Air is now reducing their expats captain. Air Asia has much smaller fleet and even the local pilots is having difficulties if they want to work in Indonesia Air Asia as they are not actively recruiting (AFAIK)
Plus, you want special terms to be based in Denpasar. I can only wish you good luck!!

So how do people get in there then? Via Air Asia personal with an internal base transfer? Or is it the way ‘you need to know the right persons’?

Hamster if you're interested in moving to Asia I’d suggest either Singapore, Japan, Vietnam or Taiwan.
You wouldn’t have a problem getting a dec 320 job in any of these countries and they have good standards.
I wouldn’t recommend going for other (granted more exotic) countries as an expat dec.
