captain wage of S$250k avg per year before taxes (S$25k/annum nominal tax, 80hrs/mth, any less hour and you're crying)..... most are leaving their wives and kids back behind (me included) , not practical or sustainable

What's the attrition rate and morale in general?

Any intention of bringing more 787 in 2019?

Rgds.

What part of "not sustainable" is unclear.

Guys are leaving as they are going bankrupt.

Honestly, our profession is the worst. No other profession accepts conditions that cause them to lose financially by working. It's ridiculous.

Warts and all, about 500 people, mostly elderly jump off high rises every year, One of the factors, is the cost of living. Of course, it goes unreported due to a compliant media.

Commuting

Scoot and other LCC airlines seem to be advertising more and more these days. I get why pilots are leaving, but surely these airlines will have to offer a commuting roster soon as more pilots leave.
