Wings Air ATR DEC

Receiving constantly emails offering ATR DEC position at Wings Air with reasonable salary package (10000 usd net with 6/2 week roster). However, I haven’t found almost anything information about the company and especially about working there as an expat. So, can anyone working/worked there provide any information about the company, its working culture, atmosphere, salary package reality, treatment of expat captains etc.? Is it worth to consider at all? Thanks in advance!

Wings Air is a subsidiary of Lion Air, there were some posts here about Lion and it seems expats get a raw deal, better expect the same at Wings

They seem to be quite flexible with the regulations and not in a good way. The developing story of the Lion Air crash last month sheds a lot of light on how the airline is run, even if now looks like the plane is part of the problem.

Good luck.

a raw deal. unfair treatment or arrangements: He felt he had gotten a raw deal but didn't complain. (Definition of “a raw deal” from the Cambridge Academic Content Dictionary © Cambridge University Press)

Gee that took about 10 seconds

Yes, the connection to Lion Air is known. What I am looking for is some inside information. How’s the safety culture, working environment, operational safety, rosters, fulfilment and reality of salary promises, etc. Living and flying at Bali for a couple of years sounds interesting, but not with whatever cost! Keep on coming those experiences and comments, please.

There is no Bali base. Never has been and never will be. You will fly 6 days a week every week. Sometimes you will do a month at a remote base and not go home at all.
You can try lifting the standard but as soon as you turn around they will go back to the way they did it before.
If you can handle being told "sorry" fifrt times a day go ahead.
Sorry we forgot to send the crew car to get you.
Sorry we forgot to order fuel.
Sorry hotel is full
You get the idea.

Really?

You say you know the connection between Wings and LionAir, then ask about 'Safety and Culture!' Really?

They speared one in killing a full plane load of people and have had many accidents/incidents in their years.

Have flown with them a couple of times in Indo as a passenger and that was enough for me to realise they have a Poor Safety Culture at minimum.
