Current JetStar Japan News?
I have been searching extensively for gouge on JetStar and while I have gathered some good data, I'm looking for the current situation at JetStar Japan. I have an interview scheduled for Dec, and wanted to see what you JetStar guys are thinking. I'm a yank with prior regional 121 experience. I do have an offer on the table as a DEC at a US Regional, but am not sure that's the right move. I have spend enough time in Asia to know that I like it there. So... Enough about me.... Your turn, please?

I am not at JJ but have spoken to several people who had the T&C for consideration both Capt & F/O... Gross contract, not NET... So you as the pilot get to pay ALL taxes due in Japan... Be advise ALL pay and Benefits are taxable in Japan... So what ever the total package is slash it by half and that will be closer to your after tax bring home... Taxes in Japan are National, City/Prefecture, Natl Health and Social Security... From what I saw the Terms are not that good for a A320... If you are wanting to Drive in Japan, AJX is by far the better deal... Just my 10 JPY...
