Yep, people are starting airlines all over the world. I don't understand it either. Here's just a casual list from the last couple of months. How does this jive with the cries of worldwide pilot shortage ? Do people start airlines without a reasonable expectation of finding pilots to fly the airplanes ? :

They start operation not early then October.

I've tried to get terms of the contract, but no response.

Personally for me interesting what the could offer, compare with jetstar, vietjet...

Yep, this is going to be very interesting. I’m sure no one will ‘lose any face’ over this!

Bamboo Airways still have not secured all the necessary Post Holder roles for AOC.
Recruitment is being handled by FLC group who do not understand aviation - considering they deal with golf courses and resorts.
Communications are often confused and disconnected.
Their CEO is an aviation enthusiast, not an aviation professional.
Too many old staff being recruited from VA.
Structure, politics, hierarchy and operations is modelled on VA - with all the old thinking and built-in problems.
October 10 as first flight is overly optimistic and it will be interesting to see what this actually looks like.
If PHs have yet to be appointed you can bet that the required Operating Manuals still have not been submitted so one wonders how the understaffed CAAV are going to churn thru all the manuals and approve them.
Direct personal involvement with their CEO and recruitment personnel has left me wondering if I should proceed!
