Any recommendation for a Mainland Chinese A320 driver to work outside of China?

Hey, guys. Sorry for my poor english.
I am a320 Cap in mainland China. I am really getting sick of long flow control and really strict qar management in China.
Is there any good recommendations for me to apply in Asia? I don't think it's ok for us to work in HK or Taiwan. Thanks. I do wanna see things outside of China.

Vietjet employs several Taiwanese and Hongkongese pilots. Unless your CAA gives any problem to VJ for "stealing" you I think you will be more than welcome there. Most probably you'll be rostered the multiple charter flights to China they have so forget about forgeting the flow control but at least you'll get to live the world out of the Great Wall.

Thanks, iggy. Seems like Vietjet ia a pretty good choice to me. At least there are Chinese speaker pilot. Is signing a good agency gonna increase my to chance to a new company?

It seems like agencies are more welcome to EASA license holders. Any good agency to recommend for me who is holding a CAAC ATPL, thanks.

Have you tried applying to lufthansa, easyjet ( same airplanes ), norwegian ( boeing ) EU based or emirates, qatar, saudia... Being a capt is much easier to get the employment though it wont be the same salary than over there.

Best way, by far, is to have all your licenses, certificates and logbook stamped, get a license verification and no accidents letter and a criminal background check and show up in the office at CT Plaza next to the airport in Saigon. Just book the hotel for a few days as sometimes the office gets a bit "empty" and it is difficult to catch up the thinking heads but if you are able to shake some hands you might get and interview on the spot. High season is coming!

The thing is I only have 5600h on A320, 2300h PIC time. If you wanna apply Qatar or emirates etc. It requires 6000 or 7000 more and widebody experience.
I might meet Easyjet's requirements, but I heard they do prefer EASA pilot and probably need a EU passport.

In China, my company gives expats $20000 a month, and I got 12k or less if I fly 80. So my salary won't be a difference if I get out the Greatwall.

Thanks, iggy. I will think about that. I probably will spend my holiday in Saigon.It's cool to talk to them in person, but I don't know know what they will react when a Chinese suddenly ask them for a job. I probably still need agency.

Are you able to get your licence from your company? Also how much are they going to charge you to leave. We had a pilot who had a metal rod to in his arm after a knife attack. The CAAC pulled his licence but there was not a problem with his CAA licence. He got a job in Australia but his company wanted 500,000 yuan to release him. They sorted it out somehow but now he is happily settled in Australia.

Believe it or not you are not the first case. The previous one had a overseas passport but other than that he was Chinese and spent his whole career in the same airline in China before joining us, so if he was bonded and he could do it you also can.

All expats are hired through an agency in VJ, they will sort it out for you. They will hire you in the office using their own agency papers. Candidate selection, placement and screening is all done in the office, hence my advice to go there directly.

Thanks for reply, I think license won't be a problem. The problem is things like license validation letter can only be Chinese, and I don't know what airline will accept that or not.

That is not really a big problem: as China didn't sign L'Aja convention , then you should simply bring your license verification letter to an agency and have it translated and notarized in English...it takes a little bit and involves few steps and some money , but can be done.
