Winn Air -Taipei

Has anyone heard of this company? I meet a G-550 driver and he said to stay away. Has anyone else had a bad experience with this company?

They manage Terry Guo's two airplanes, A G650 and G550 plus another guy's G650. They are all Taiwan B registered aircraft meaning you need to get a Taiwan medical and take their Air Law exam. Not exceedingly difficult, but sometimes tedious to jump through all the other required hoops. All Taiwan B registered corporate aircraft must operate under an AOC which means airline style flight and duty time limitations along with airline style training requirements for CRM, Dangerous Goods, CPDLC, SEP, etc, etc. Last time they advertised for a pilot on the 650 in May pay was $25,000/month all in. I think they work guys pretty hard for that though.

My friend took the 650 job there, yes salary was good. He quit after 3 months. There's better jobs around.
