I can not believe what I have been told ! The 6 FOs got fired to save money on their recurrent PPC and Hotac.

What such good publicity for this crap, so called National Flag Carrier of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and for the pimps( Parc and Rishworth ) working for them !

And these monkeys want to be a 4* airline .

Kimono 1950 ...
I have some very bad news for you...
Ready?
Vna get the 4th stars already!
there are already expat crews on A350 and B787
In the next months also the expat from A321 will begin to change fleet onA350 and 787
All the 2 stripes cadets now have 3 stripes, and they will have the full expat contract very soon..

If you need I can suggest some good medicines for your stomach pains after reading these news...

Of course the sand is not without its own issues but at least no P2F, at the ME3 anyway

Guys, have just been told by a friend who's attended last month the selection for a capt pos A320 that the new contract is as follow:
- 10800 usd bond for 5 years
- first month upon joining with no pay, then reduced pay for line training, normal pay only after line check
- they pretend they pay all tax in Vietnam, but this is actually not true as they don't provide an official tax record, just a crappy unofficial document which doesn't even worth the paper it's written on
- last but not least, in case of dismissal from company's side, even in case of medical failure, pilot has to refund all training expenses
Can anyone confirm this??
Hope it's not true

787 First Officer

Does anyone know the details of salary being paid for the position?

Also, do they pay a gratuity at the completion of the 5 year contract?

What are the prospects for command upgrade from RHS 787 to LHS 787?

Is there still a huge pay disparity between expats and locals there? Any friction caused in relations between the 2 as a result of it?

not working for them, but saw an article that they are trying to lease out their 321s/350s & 787.

Basically whole of asia is hurting right now, doubt you would want to come here at this time.

Funny because I hear the same thing in Europe. Maybe we should stop listening to the managers crying with their millions in the bank, and show that if they want us to fly their planes in the good times, then they’d better not come up with ideas during the not so good times.

Gents. May I ask what are the expected terms and conditions for a 787 skipper. I mean salary wise and otherwise. How is the working and staying condition please. And which base would be best.
Thanks in advance.
