Shenzhen Airlines losing part of a flap?

Hi,
I am looking for more information on this topic. A fried of mine was on this intra-Chinese flight and would like to know what really happened as the airline did not give him any info.

What we know:
May 1st, Shenzhen Airlines ZH9932 HRB to SZX
Departure 1:50p
Passenger found that a metal part of the right wing loosed and flapped.
Crew decided to circle for about 2 hours to burn fuel and return to Harbin.
Plane was welcomed by fire brigade.
