Cebu pacific incident - Butuan
Looks like Cebu Pacific aircraft made an error turning to line up. Aircraft backtrack on the runway then rtn at the end. Known for high speed taxiing Cebu have had a few incidents.

CEB flight 5J 220 Butuan - Cebu today has been cancelled after the aircraft nose wheel went off the runway as it was turning in preparation for take-off. All passengers have deplaned and will be re-accommodated in the next available flights. The Butuan runway has been temporarily closed.
The following CEB flights to and from Butuan have been cancelled on these dates:
February 15, 2014 / Saturday
5J220 Butuan-Cebu
5J785/786 Manila-Butuan-Manila
5J791/792 Manila-Butuan-Manila
5J223/224 Cebu-Butuan-Cebu
February 16, 2014 / Sunday
5J785/786 Manila-Butuan-Manila
Guests on these flights may avail any of the following options:
. Free rebooking of flight within 30 days from original departure date;
. Reroute to the nearest alternate airport (Cagayan de Oro or Davao); or
. Full travel fund or refund
They may call +(632)7020-888 or +(6332)230-8888 for their preferred option.
CEB is in coordination with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. Cebu Pacific will continue to provide updates as soon as they are available.

No, they got rid of the contractors, CP still has expat pilots.
Why is it when a contractor takes a job on a limited contract they somehow feel they are entitled to that job for as long as they want?

Having in mind their contract conditions, duration to convert all docs
and pass all govt procedures (2-3 months in general), no doubt only the DESPERATE Capts would still want to fly with Cebu.
The outcome is on the photo above.
It is one of the WORST managed airlines I ever saw. No one wants to take responsilbility for anything.
