"The ministry's spokesman said the landing was entirely normal - except for the fact that it was at the wrong airport."

The airports are next to each other pretty much so it can easily be done if your not paying attention to what you are doing....Or the fact the Flight deck themselves are in LVP's due to Cigarette smoke

Many airports in the world are confusing, you have Londonderry in Ireland for example.

and then you had rhe NWA DC 10 ex Detroit which landed in Bruxelles around 160 nm short of Frankfurt..mind you that one was even more impressive ..they landed in the wrong country!

DC-10 misses Frankfurt runway - by 300km

Or the other way around...the RAF Jaguar that landed on NWI (EGSH) runway 04 instead of RAF Coltishall runway 04 (a few Nm's to the NE)

Maybe this guy was spearheading a new ryan air type strategy from Air Indonesia to make the passengers travel the final leg of their journey by skate board.
