Question

To: lifeafteraviation

Yes, I am indeed and my intension is to bring in some light into what rumors and what reality is living and working in China. Obviously we all know, that this also depends on each ones own perception and experiences.

So I tried to say what I really think towards comments already made, without bringing in any advertisement character, but unfortunately I saw, that there have been already some comments, that I am somehow pushing HNA a lot and I have to be careful, as I don't want to appear "pushy".

It is not difficult to be more or less straight with an opinion, but it seams not to be too much appreciated.

I have made a few good and as well bad experiences which I can and would like to share and I think as long I can speak the way I think about the good stuff and the bad stuff, people should just tolerate my opinion as I accept theirs.

I any case, opinions only reflect our personal view and if I can help you our with something and let other readers share, than that would be great.

Danger Hainan Airlines Exposed

FCOM-5, let me help you a bit with your anxiety, maybe since you are an insider and you cannot sound too pushy, maybe you can help those of us affected by passing this note to HNA upper management staff.

Agencies on behalf of Hainan Airlines pilot recruitment....!

I will not go in detail here, but it is a universal thought, that the middle man is always a problem between the vendor, and the client.
No matter which agency you apply for jobs with Hainan Airlines you are going to face the same oddities, let me enumerate some of them:

1. Pilot agencies including the In-house HNA-Overseas, are immature and understaffed. They can barely maintain their own agendas, the three stoogies can accomplish more.
2. They, (agencies) do not keep track of pilot status throughout the recruitment process.
3. They do not communicate effectively, cannot afford a phone call overseas, and ask you to refer to the FAQs ??
4. More lies and deception. Just take a minute researching the website info for HNA-Overseas; I.E...Bases info, Schools, Heath insurance, LoL insurance and several other tabs under construction with a note saying: "Due to CNY our project got delayed". Are this people for real???? Is this what Skytrax considers a Five (5) star Airline?
5. The bases they offer is a fallacy. It they open Urumqi base in the future and they need pilots there, you as a foreigner will be first thing up to be based out there, you are not entitled to choose your base. Insiders attest to this fact. What you see during screening is a charade of boloni.

China is still a communist country regardless of what you hear or see. "Trusted advisors", as they call new agency recruiters are nothing but opportunistic bastards who want to pretend they are changing the system. They poach from other pilot agencies, deceive employers and candidates and run with the booth. Nine (9) pilot candidates on my first visit on October 2013, passed all assessments including SIM, and still awaiting for a job offer; I was even asked a release letter from previous employer when in essence you do not disengage from present employer until you have a signed and stamped Employment Agreement.

Consultations with IFALPA and Chinese High Commissions is in ongoing we need to find who is responsible here, 5 stars??, my ass.

To FCOM-5

Thanks for your info.

As I already started with my application which includes my family (looking for residence contract) I would really appreciate any further information.
I searched as much as possible info about China and Hainan but I need some info about bases and rosters and also about schools (if there is something not on net).

So if you can please send me a PM

Thanks in advance
