Single Engine ATPL

Hi Guys ,
Is it possible to get an ATPL in India if you have more than 1500hrs on single engine aircrafts [piston/Turbine] and you meet the DGCA requirements of cross country , night flying etc.

Do we need to have a current IR rating on multi engine ? or is there any requirement of certain hrs on multi-engine in order to get an ATPL in India ?
