is it true that spice sponsors/contributes a certain % of the type rating expense of the aircraft you're assigned to? (i.e it is not entirely self-sponsored?) if so, then by how much/what %?

thanks for answering, it's good that spice helps out with the training expense (except for their 25k selection process), i wish the other airlines would do the same thing

why spice is taking that long to come up with result ???

heard from my friend, that they have already inducted 10-12 ppl , who had jugaad...!!!

You heard from a 'friend'? Whatever happened to robin.pereira and the other bloke who came out with the news saying that SG has started ringing up candidates who passed the exam - which is entirely false!

hey guys...sorry bout the late reply out here... referring to the previous post out on the thread adding up to some questions to which i made note of
1)Incomplete question on Transport wander just stated Transport wander flying west at 45 N..Insufficient data provided.
2)The gyro of DGI has
ans)Two degree of freedom n Horizontal axis...Options din match
3)Field elevation given 3500ft amsl,QFE is 1020mb...find PA?
4)When descending through an Isothermal later at constant TAS?
5)If ambient temp Increases by 10 deg,for an aircraft flying at constant TAS,the indicated mach will____ and the true mach would _____(both would decrease)
6)Where is EGT measured from?
Ans:-At the LP turbine outlet
7)Crusing at FL390,Mach:- .84.,TAS=499kts..ISA dev?
ans:- +17
8) Few Questions on CP n PNR
9)Basic Payload problem.
10) Which kind of fog is formed over frozen land
ans:- Steaming Fog
These are some of the questions I could recall that were asked at the SJ written.Hard to figure out on the marking system of those 8 repeated questions.

Spice jet non rated FO intake
Hi guys
Does spice jet accept applications for experienced non-rated/rated non indian FOs willing to pay towards line training?
Any useful phone numbers will be appreciated

The DGCA has a rule which bans a airline and charter compaies to hire a Non-Indian as a first officer , you can try Indonesia they have no restriction on this except Grauda Airlines.
